Following the initial meeting with the Market manager, you may be invited back for a day’s trade where your stall will be assessed through exhibition. The assessment will be in accordance with the Creative, Ethical and Made in Britain Priority System, where the Market manager vets your goods, display and ambience created by your stall. Most importantly you will be assessed on the creative input into your product. UK designers/ makers and small creative businesses supporting ethical trade are rated most highly.
Customers visit Greenwich Market because they are looking for something that can’t be found elsewhere. That something special might be a gift, meal or an experience that is close to being unique and not widely available. Local, fairtrade and ethical products are highly rated. We encourage creativity, originality and the people who are passionate about their products.

The assessment will be in accordance with the Grading system. A member of Management will assess your goods, display and ambience created by your stall. UK designers and makers are rated most highly who support ethical and fair trade, alongside their creative input into the product.
The Grading System is applied to every type of Trader (Crafts, Food, Antiques and Collectable Traders). The Grading System is used to measure one’s stall and business in; Quality, Uniqueness, Presentation, Customer Service and Produce (only if necessary).
Grades are measured out of 5, 1, being a high standard of quality ranking at the top, and 5, being those who import and sell produce at low value, at the lowest grade.
We look for traders who abides by all of the Greenwich Market Rules and Regulations and conducts themselves in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
If requested, applicable Traders are provided with the necessary information to improve their grade and assessment. Grades are reviewed and can be changed if sufficient improvement is made.

Regularity is not obtained by time served on the market but by frequency of trading.
All stall prices are inclusive of VAT.
Please note from 1st April 2016 all payments are made by invoices online by credit or debit cards. Cash Payments are NOT accepted. Prices below are per day. Holiday rates vary.
