Greenwich Hospital is the major landowner in Greenwich town centre with holdings which include homes, shops, offices, restaurants and public houses encompassing College Approach, King William Walk, Nelson Road, Greenwich Market, and a substantial part of Greenwich Church Street.
Greenwich Hospital was granted a Royal Charter in 1694 to provide charitable support to serving and retired men and women of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines, and to their dependants.
It devotes its resources to paying pensions, providing grants to naval charities, running three sheltered housing schemes and awarding means tested bursaries at the Royal Hospital School.
The Hospital does no fund-raising and its outputs are met entirely from its investments including the Greenwich Estate.

Greenwich Hospital's policy is to encourage parties to embrace the unique location of Greenwich whether they are starting up, expanding or re-locating from another area.
As we already work with many local businesses, many of whom began as stallholders within the market, we try to be as flexible as we can with regards to the terms on offer and ensure the letting process is as painless as possible.
If you would like to talk to anyone about the possibility of taking commercial space within the Estate please either contact the management office or the retained letting agents.
