The Greenwich Union is the first public house of Meantime Brewing Company.
Old-style pub values are successfully married to a distinctly contemporary attitude to food and drink.
The Greenwich Union became Meantime Brewing Company’s first public house in November 2001.
Selling no national brewers’ products at all, it rapidly earned a reputation for great beers, served with enthusiasm, in relaxed and welcoming surroundings.
In 2003 it was the only pub to be shortlisted for the Time Out, Evening Standard and the Class magazine Pub of the Year awards.
In 2004 it was voted readers’ pub of the year by the ‘Fancyapint’ website.
