Crosstown is launching limited-edition Halloween dough bites and a vegan Spiced Pumpkin doughnut on the 31st October, ready for the festive celebrations in London.
The Halloween dough bite (mini filled doughnut) features Crosstown’s signature sourdough, filled with home-made raspberry jam, topped with Tongan vanilla bean glaze and finished with a spooky edible topper.
The limited-edition dough bites will be sold individually (£2) or as a box of 15 (£27), perfect for Halloween celebrations or feeding the office floor.
They will be available on 31st October only, in all stores and online via the Crosstown website. With limited stock, pre-orders are advised at www.crosstowndoughnuts.com.
The Spiced Pumpkin doughnut (vegan) is inspired by the traditional Thanksgiving dessert, the American pumpkin pie. It features Crosstown’s award-winning vegan sourdough, filled with a homemade spiced pumpkin custard and topped with both pumpkin glaze and a cinnamon and pumpkin seed crumble.
The Spiced Pumpkin doughnut will be available individually (£4.50) or as a box of 12 (£34) from 31st October to 29th November 2019 in all Crosstown stores and online via the Crosstown website.
“A lot of our customers are Americans, so we wanted to bring a touch of Thanksgiving to London. The Spiced Pumpkin doughnut is a twist on the classic pumpkin pie, and I think Londoners will be impressed. It pays homage to the flavours in a Crosstown way.” said JP Then, Crosstown co-founder.
Online orders can be placed at: www.crosstowndoughnuts.com
Crosstown is an award-winning bakery in London known for its sourdough doughnuts that are made by hand fresh 365 days of the year. The company was founded in 2014 by JP Then and Adam Wills, starting as a street food stall at London’s Leather Lane Market. Crosstown has since grown into an omni-channel retailer and currently has 20 sites across London (11 permanent stores, 2 food trucks and 7 market stalls), as well as online ordering, events, catering and wholesale segments. Crosstown's signature sourdough is rolled by hand whilst all jams, compotes, glazes and fillings are made in-house.
In 2017 the brand launched a range of vegan sourdough doughnuts, made with alternative ingredients such as chia seeds, coconut butter and silken tofu, and have since been awarded Best Vegan Doughnuts by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). A selection of vegan flavours is available at all Crosstown locations, with the full range at Crosstown Marylebone, Victoria Park Market and Brockley Market.
